Random M&M character - The Mysterion

While visiting Dave (of Digital Dave fame) a couple weeks ago, I asked him what he was reading. He looked up from his copy of Marvel's Annihilation, Book 2 and commented that it made him want to run a Mutants & Masterminds game set in space. On the drive home, after listening to my new Satriani album, Jen and I came up with characters to populate this theoretical game. Jen's Mysterion (since she felt Musterion was dumb) came out looking like a viable Silver Surfer type character.

From whence comes this mysterious being? What does she want?

That's an terrific set of powers you've got there!

Just +2 for attack bonus, no skills and only a +3 Will save at PL 10 is..... brave. Not a character I'd expect to survive long in one of my games. I'd be interested to see how she plays. Theoretically, of course :D

I never claimed to have the slightest idea how to build an effective character. Heck, we haven't even managed to play again after the introductory adventure debacle.

The whole point was to get the across-the-galaxy teleport as an alternate of cosmic energy control. That required the rank 18, which (since the default power is a blast) maxed the attack bonus at 2.

The no skills and low mental stats I think are meant to establish the character as an everywoman who somehow got Supreme Cosmic Power. Besides, when you can be anywhere in the galaxy in 6 seconds, what skills do you really need beyond that?
